Shutterfly!

One of my other projects that I am working on is sharing my pictures and news through the snail mail.  A lot of relatives do not actively use the internet and I want to keep them in the loop as well.  Especially grandparents who aren't too fond of the world wide web.  I can totally understand.  So therefore, I am going to create a Shutterfly Account!

My sister invited me to join.  She sends out Christmas cards through Shutterfly, and I have always meant to try it out!  Since we had the twins, I have wanted to make birth announcements, and I am going to use Shutterfly to help us with it.  Sissy has walked me through how she makes her cards, and it is very simple!!

I have gone through some of their different sets of Christmas cards and found many that I adore.  I especially like the one below!!

I would need to use a card like this to fit my entire family on the front!  We have so many pictures to share, and it would be hard for me to narrow it down to one picture!  I love my children and want to give them their individual space on the card, plus bring it together as a whole family for one of the pictures.  And then I found that you can personalize the card with a unique signature.  It makes the entire care your own, and gives a sense so specialty that I don't get from Christmas cards bought at the store.

Shutterfly gives the option to create calendars, which I find to be the perfect gift for Grandparents.  Like I said, I have thousands of pictures that I want/need to share.  I have the option to alter the layout of each page to make it exactly like I want.  I have seen the quality of their prints, and it is fantastic!  I love how you can add pictures inside the day, as well as at the top!

Not only can you do Christmas greeting cards, you can also make holiday party cards!  Since we have a giant family, my hand starts to fall off after writing the same thing OVER AND OVER!  So, with Shutterfly, I can design it on the computer, and that is it!  It comes to the house with envelopes all ready to address.  And that is the other thing... you can print address labels!  I am so excited about that!  What a time saver!  And when you go to order your cards or projects, you can even have Shutterfly stamp and mail to recipients for you!

Look for our cards this year!!

Love,
Rachel

We are here!

I have started a blog to help connect my family via online resources.  Sometimes, when the family is so big- it is hard to communicate with everyone and keep everyone in the loop!  I want to share the joy of my children with everyone, so I have decided to create a blog specifically for milestones and for pictures.  Please enjoy!
